As part of the vision to improve the appearance of the medians and roundabout coming into town from the north, in addition to new landscaping, there will be a sculpture in the roundabout. The Breckenridge Public Art Commission posted a Call to Artists for the north roundabout sculpture last Fall, and received 260 applications, which were narrowed down to four finalists. The Finalists presented the models at a public forum on February 19. Now, we want to hear from you.

GOALS:
Creative Intent - We encouraged sculptors to visit our town and make connections to our people, place, history and future. The following elements are to be considered:

Sense of arrival to town
One-of-a-kind sculpture
Timeless and iconic statement piece
Simple and recognizable at a speed of about 15 MPH
Sensitive to the space
Meet all Colorado Department of Transportation guidelines
