The Breckenridge Sign Ordinance currently prohibits the use of sandwich board signs. These signs typically announce sales or menu item specials to the public. The reasons for this restriction is to keep the downtown from becoming visually and physically cluttered which detracts from the authentic charm of our Main Street. In addition, with our narrow sidewalks and minimal building setbacks, walking space is a premium and creates challenges for snow removal.
