Recently a dog was attacked by other dogs in our community, so the Town Council responded by reviewing what types of restrictions and bans other towns/cities have in place. The research found other communities in Colorado have either banned or put restrictions on certain breeds due to incidents of certain breeds attacking people or other pets; you may review the staff memo with this posting. We are looking for your input regarding possible restrictions for certain dog breeds so ask you to take the time to provide us answers and input here on EngageBreckenridge. Results will be combined with additional surveys and presented to Town Council.
